I'm sharing all the details from Kinlee's 4th birthday party!
Our baby girl turned four in January and to celebrate our sweet girl I threw a party based on her favorite sweet treat... ice cream! I love a fun word play on the number they are turning as the theme so when I saw the idea we all scream FOUR ice cream I knew I had to do that. So I started a pinterest board based on all things ice cream party related.
One of the first things I saw was this cake that looked like an ice cream cone was melting on it and I just thought that was the cutest thing. So I sent the photo to a local baker and family friend who makes my children's cakes every year (Gigi's Goodies). I also knew I wanted to do an ice cream bar so I got all the different toppings for that. Another sweet treat I knew I wanted was cake cones since they went perfectly with the theme. Those I just made myself at home. As if all those treats weren't enough we also had cookies made to go along with the theme. We have a local baker make them every year and she never disappoints (Sinfully Sweet).
Next up are the decorations. I ordered most of my decorations from Amazon. I got a variety pack of ice cream themed paper products. I didn't want to do a balloon garland this year, something I have done the past couple years so I'm kind of over that haha. So I found an easier balloon set up to do and that was this adorable sprinkle wall idea to take photos in front of. All you need are a few long balloons that you cut some to make them look like sprinkles and then I just used painters tape and taped them to a blank wall in our home. A cute game I found on Amazon when I was searching ice cream party decorations was pin the cherry on the ice cream. So that was something fun and easy to do with the kids!
Kinlee had such a great time with family and friends. And enjoyed getting to eat all the sweet treats! I also have a post on my Instagram (@deziree_rosenberg) with some more photos and a cute, easy birthday photo shoot that you can do yourself in your own home!
